When I first viewed Tom Grimes' fascinating UBIK OFFICE I was duly impressed with its clean, crisp details and almost antiseptic atmosphere. I immediately thought about what the opposite of this "all to pure" image might look like. So I tinkered with the image and came up its shadow side. In visual content and theme it is the dark sister which I call UBIK NOIR.
